Grinnell Regional Medical Center welcomes Corbin
Hafkey, the son of Trish and Chad Hafkey, Grinnell, as the first baby of 2014.
Corbin was born on January 3 in the GRMC Kintzinger Women’s Health Center.
Dr. Monica Brito, OB/GYN specialist, delivered the New
Year’s baby, who weighed 9 pounds, 11 ounces and measured 22 inches long.
Also welcoming the new baby are grandparents, George
and Barb Hafkey and Tom and Deb Paris. Corbin’s parents are farmers in rural
Grinnell.
Baby Hafkey started an exciting new year for GRMC as
three other babies arrived within two days.
